An Omaha woman was booked for felony assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony after allegedly stabbing her brother with a pair of scissors in their mother’s apartment Wednesday night.

An Omaha woman was booked for felony assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony after allegedly stabbing her brother with a pair of scissors in their mother’s apartment Wednesday night.

Police said the attack took place when 28-year-old Nina Delaney and 26-year-old Tyrone Delaney got into an argument at the residence on Northwest Radial Highway near North 59th Street around 10:30 p.m.

Tyrone was taken by private vehicle to the Nebraska Medical Center for treatment.
