Archdiocese Fortnight For Freedom Rally Planned For Saturday

Archbishop George J. Lucas and area speakers will
headline the archdiocese’s June 23 “Fortnight for Freedom Rally” at the Memorial Park Monument.

The 10:00 a.m. rally will conclude at St. Margaret Mary Church with a
prayer service and homily from Archbishop George Lucas.

The U.S. bishops called for a “Fortnight for Freedom,” the two-week period from June 21 to July 4. The bishops contend that several moves by state, local, and federal governments that are
threatening the Church’s religious freedom.

The program will include, speakers, patriotic songs and prayer.
