A family is grieving the loss of their eight-year-old girl, but praying for the recovery of their other two daughters.
The family's minivan was rear-ended on Monday evening at 72nd and Main in Ralston. A mother and her three daughters were inside. On of the girls, Julia Brown, died in the accident.
Jasmine Maharisi recounts what she saw moments after the crash.
"It was just a normal day for them and then in just a blink of an eye, everything is gone and they will never be the same again," said Maharisi.
Rodney Watkins was the driver of the car that hit the Browns. Channel Six asked Watkins if a medical condition could explain the crash. He said he didn't know.
Police are still investigating the reason for the accident.
