Authorities are looking for a man suspected in the attempted abduction of three girls on the west side of Perry, Iowa.

Authorities are looking for a man suspected in the attempted abduction of three girls on the west side of Perry, Iowa.

Perry police say the man stopped his car about 8 p.m. Friday and asked the girls, ages 8 and 9, for directions to a convenience store. He then tried to get the girls into the car, asking for them to show him the way.

Police say that when the girls refused, the man made a lewd comment and pointed at his crotch.

The girls ran to a neighbor's house.
