Warrant Served At Metro Business

Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol served a search warrant at an Omaha business Tuesday morning.

Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol served a search warrant at an Omaha business Tuesday morning.

The warrant was served at Weatherization Trust, near 16th and Locust. Paperwork and computers were seized from the building; however, no arrests were made. Officials told Channel 6 News the warrant is sealed and no other details are being released.

In addition to troopers, witnesses said vehicles belonging to the Nebraska Energy Department were also at the business during the search.

According to its website, Weatherization Trust receives funding from the State and Federal governments to help low-income families weatherize their homes.
