Buffett said that "civilized people" don't buy gold, so I wonder if Borsheim's will stop selling gold jewelry? Does he think Borsheim's customers who buy gold are uncivilized?

He is talking about people making more than one Million per year for tax increase. I am sure when the IRS decisions are made, there will be interest on any taxes owed. I am sure you just pay whatever HR block tells you.

Well you have a computer and the internet. There are jobs out there=maybe not your ideal job,but it's better than sitting around lamenting your life.

What speaks volumes about the "Occupy" movement is that they don't protest Buffett and any Buffett events. He is the 1%, but he's more than that, because he's the richest 1% of that 1%. The occupiers don't care, because Buffett is a Democrat and runs interference for Obama, so his being that rich is OK with them.

I find it sickening that all in Omaha worship Mr Buffet and Channel 6 did the stories on May 5th about the Derby. The employees were all wearing their Derby hats saying how much fun it would be to be at the Derby, yet not once did anyone say why didn't Mr Buffet save Aksarben an institution that put Omaha on the map?

Josh, I hope your situation improves I have been in your position many times, when you are out pounding the pavement try and remember you do have blessings -you do have your own yard and a computer to post and many others. When you are back on your feet and can buy a berk B I encourage you to do so so you can see what its all about. I'm so glad I did I have wait so long to attend 7 years. A cost of a nice dinner is all it takes. ;-)

Enjoing the perks at the Berk event and I'm not rich. I have waited for 7 years to attend this event, so B stock got down to affordable costs - it only takes one share for one to attend this event and depending at the vendors that are there or NFM or borsheims you recoup your initial investment. Can't beat that. It was so nice to know that I didn't have to have all the money in the world to attend this event - and that I received the same discounts as the people that did. Can't wait til next year!

I wish I could go one buffett event without having mulitple stories on it year after year. I'm tired of seeing what this liar and hypocrite has to say. Maybe instead of telling the "rich" people to pay more taxes (which aren't even millionaires/billionaires, its ppl in the 200k+ tax group). He should man up and pay the billions of back taxes he owes dating more than ten yrs ago! If I did that the IRS would have audited me and probably shut me down. But since he's the 2nd richest he gets to makes the rules and NOT follow them.

As I sat in my yard unemployed and in North Omaha I saw all the rich people fly in and could only dream about a better life but it won't happen because I don't have no money. Back to the streets.
