Look, I am a conservative, but you must know the ACLU has done some great things. Sometimes they pick the wrong side of right, and other times they nail it. Search case history to understand the role and why they do what they do.
If they step in to enforce laws, why are they not steppinging when the Government is not enforcing Immigaration laws. Or is it just selective enforcment?

ACLU is important, they do not write our laws, they step in when laws are violated or need to be enforced (lack of better word's). Most of the time I don't like their involvement due to "my views" but it isn't about me. ACLU really is a good thing that wouldn't be found in a communist country.
