nothing ever happens im sure you wont have to worry about it all the way in thurman IA. why don't you guys get your own news station is my question so omaha can concentrate on omaha issues instead of iowa towns that nobodys ever heard of before.... thanks channel 6 for giving me false hope on a storm. this was the weakest storm i've seen in ages. thanks a lot.

i didn't get any kind of storm. i think when a person says storm that the word storm should have meaning behind it. not just rain. who cares about rain? its not like its going to rain for 40 days and 40 nights. it will most likely rain for a couple hours and be done like it usually does. i didn't get any hail, wind, and just a little bit of rain. you call this a storm? i call this a joke.

I have DirecTV, which i LOVE! But during real bad storms we can lose picture. Having the "Live" internet feed Jim does is simply AWESOME! It keeps us safe and for that I can't thank you enough!

Glad nothing happened in your neck of the woods, Steve. Unfortunately, the "chance of small hail" they warned of at 6 o'clock turned out to be both significantly larger and more plentiful than anticipated. Got both of the vehicles and destroyed the flowers and veggies I had planted. I had hoped last years hailstorm fiasco was a once in a lifetime event, not a yearly one.

Better safe than sorry! I pray nothing happens again. I'm sure the residents of Thurman, Iowa appreciated the heads-up when a tornado ripped through their town on April 14th. 90% of the town suffered damage but no fatalities or severe injuries. Thanks to channel 6 for all you do to keep us informed!!!
