An Omaha mother told police her son was mowing the lawn when a group of teenagers pulled up. Seconds later, they started shooting at the family's home.

Omaha police report that the ShotSpotter activation system picked up the gunfire on Tuesday afternoon near 39th and Grand Avenue.

According to Savera Cottrell, neither she nor her son, 22-year-old Dontanion Cottrell were injured; however, following the shooting her son took off and she was unable to give police his address.

Omaha police are looking for six African American male suspects in their teens or 20's. The suspect vehicle is described as possibly an older, green Ford Bronco or similar SUV.
