Omaha's Woodmen Tower is now home to two more peregrine falcons. Two eggs hatched Tuesday, giving Hera, the adult female and Zeus, the father, the perfect May Day basket.

The two chicks bring the total number of falcons hatched at the Tower to 61.

Bird watchers from around the world can watch the falcon chicks online via the live FalconCam. The FalconCam, newly equipped with a microphone, provides a birds-eye view from the 28th floor of the Woodmen Tower in downtown Omaha.

Officials from the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission will remove the chicks from their nest in June, to place identification bands around their legs and determine their gender. Woodmen of the World will then sponsor a public “Name the Chicks” contest on Facebook.
