I live in a "white" neighborhood (193rd and Q area)...my neighbors are very nice BLACK people. Nice way to let your real feelings on race show....

what do you know about senior pranks? and what good is a prank on some random peoples houses? it would have been better if it was the actual school yard or parking lot or football field or something like that, not some random peoples houses...

Same thing, they are damaging/defacing property that does not belong to them.

You know what... I live in Benson and have had my vehicle vandalised on more than one occasion and wasn't really happy about it either. We work hard for what we have, whether it's a lot or a little. Everyone has the right to be upset and angry when other people damage their belongings, whether they can afford the repairs or not. I'm sorry that you're so jealous of whatever lifestyle you feel these homeowners have that it makes you write such snide remarks.

That was my thought as well. Funny how things are different when the shoe is on the other foot.

There are no White neighborhoods in Omaha. African Americans live all over Omaha.

Unless you know and have proof of who did it do not expect much from the police. Because of the nature of crime they will eventually make a report but without evidence they will not know who to arrest.

Please don't refer to them as taggers. Call them what they really are; vandals.

So which race was it directed at? Looks like a white neighborhood to me. Where's the public outcry that ALWAYS happens when a hate crime is perpetrated on black people?

Well those complaints should get lost somewhere at the OPD telephone reporting unit. And the lady hasn't heard back. surprise. surprise.

"Called the cops but have not heard back", do you expect different. I waited over 24 hours for them to show up on a robbery. Yet i get to drive by their speed traps almost daily. Newsflash, the police dont care about your problem, grafitti, or property. Sorry to break it to you.

I wonder if this is a senior prank scandal from the burke high school seniors??? This is right in that area and the anti school brats could have wanted to show there hatred for the school... or a fellow senior class rivalry taking this out on burke... Just my idea!

Well weell, if you live in "West Omaha" with every home being blah beige, I guess the red is SO threatening. Call the police, demand an arrest! Don't pay to have it painted over. Be cheap; the city has to come and clean it up immediiately! My propery values! Oh, the humanity of it all!
