Kylee Heinrich is turning her battle with a rare disease into a mission to help others. She is making-and selling-bracelets to help other sick kids.

Kylee was 2-year-old when her parents noticed something just wasn't right.

Julie Heinrich, Kylee's mom says, "She had surgeries, a biopsy done, she had nerves study done, a muscle study done. Lots of poking to our baby...it was horrible."

Kylee was diagnose with Juvenile Dermatomyositis-a rare and life threatening disease that attacks all the muscles and skin tissues in the body. She has to take a lot of medication so her immune system shuts off.

There is no cure yet, but she's been on treatment for over 7 1/2 years.

Kylee says, "I'm having lots of fun...and I feel great!"

Kylee can't be out in the sun a lot, so they needed an indoor project.

Along with her mom and sister, they are spending their free time making bracelets.

Kylee says, "We're at 900 bracelets and our goal is 1,000."

Kylee plans to donate all of the money to the Make-A-Wish Foundations, Give Kids The World, and Cure JM.

Julie says, "We hope to sell every last one of them."

How would Kylee feel about that?

Kylee says, "Very, very, very, very, super duper...HAPPY!"

Kylee will be selling them at Scooters on Saturday, April 21st. Here are the details.
