A plea agreement was reached Thursday regarding the fourth suspect’s role in the 2010 robbery and murder of an Omaha pizza deliveryman.
Larry Fountain admitted he was at the apartment complex when it happened, but said he had nothing to do with the actual robbery and murder. Fountain agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy to commit a robbery, a Class II felony, meaning he could receive one-to-50 years in prison at his sentencing in July.
His attorney said Fountain made the mistake of letting others involved use his cellphone to order a pizza, luring deliveryman Christopher Taylor to the vacant apartment where Taylor was robbed and stabbed to death.
Bryton Gibbs was sentenced to 100 years in prison and Dontavis McClain received life. Marcus Robinson plead guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery and will be sentenced in June.
