One Injured In Crash
Douglas County Sheriff’s Department deputies were investigating a two-car crash near Bennington Saturday afternoon that sent one driver to the hospital.
It happened in the intersection of 156th Street and Kansas Avenue just after 1:30 p.m. A witness told Channel 6 News he believes a Mazda pulled out in front of a Ford and was struck on the driver’s side. The driver of the Mazda may have several broken bones.
The witness and a deputy said that after the cars came to stop, a young boy crawled out of the Mazda through the shattered rear window. He was not hurt.
