A teacher of gifted students was back in court Friday, this time in Douglas County, to face charges of sexually assaulting two children.

Bond was set at $500,000 for 58-year-old Nicholas Richter, $250,000 for each count. That's in addition to a $2 million bond on charges he faces in Ralston. Richter will be back in court for a bond review hearing on Monday when a judge will decide if his bond can be reduced in Douglas County.

These latest allegations involve children ages eight and 10. Richter, who is on administrative leave from Seymour Elementary School in Ralston, faces similar charges in Ralston for allegedly assaulting three boys between the ages of nine and 10.
