A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the entire Omaha metro until 2:00 Wednesday morning.

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the entire Omaha metro until 2:00 Wednesday morning. This includes Sarpy, Douglas and Pottawattamie counties.

Strong storms are likely overnight in Omaha and surrounding areas. Large hail and damaging winds are the major threats.

The storms should come to an end by 3:00 Wednesday morning.
