You are not alone; we all struggle
Even on my best days I can name something I struggled with.

Technology is incredible, isn't it?!? We can see things happen live on the other side of the earth; we can take a picture with our phone and send it to a friend; we can text our kids in the basement that it's time for dinner (don't tell me you haven't done something like that!!) But one thing technology hasn't found a substitute for is the human touch; if it had, I would be sending an electronic hug to my fellow bloggers and every woman who has ever been challenged in life or struggled to make it through a day.
Have you been following all the bloggers? They really are incredible women -- we have a stay at home mom, teachers, business women and a pastor. We have empty nesters, moms with older kids, a single gal and moms with little ones. We have tall and short, blondes, brunettes and redheads. While we are all different and come from different places with different life experiences, we all have one thing in common; we all struggle.
Even on my best days I can name something I struggled with even if it's something as simple as discovering someone put my favorite box of cereal back in the cupboard with no cereal in it, dribbling coffee on my white sweater, or having the gas pump not shut off automatically when I filled up my car.
I think women struggle more than men -- I have no basis for that; just observation. Maybe it's because the warm, nurturing souls God blessed us with cause us to demand a lot, maybe too much, of ourselves.
I'm not quite sure of the point of this rambling blog today . . . I guess I'm thinking a lot about all my sisters in this world. I read the blogs of my friends, I listen to the challenges of co-workers, the girl at the coffee shop shares her struggles, I see women rushing stressfully around the grocery store, I meet a woman on the walking trail and see she's been crying. I just want all my sisters out there to know they are not alone. We all have challenges and struggles and feel we fall short and one of the best things we can do is encourage one another and build each other up! (1 Thessalonians 5:11). We're all on this journey together and we need to help each other get through this tough ol' world!
So for now, until I see you in person, I'm sending you all a cyber hug and requesting one in return, because it's likely I'll need one today!
