In June I heard about a challenge on TV.
It would involve learning about my heart and me.

I emailed my letter right away that night.
In hopes that someone might think I was right.

I needed this challenge because I have issues you see.
With cholesterol, blood pressure, and heart disease.

The response came a few weeks later while shopping,
Jayme said ,"Come for an interview "and that got me hopping.

What will I say so they'll pick me to be a part,
Of all of the things I would learn to protect my heart.

I went for the interview and was chosen as one of six,
Who would blog for the next 12 weeks with channel 6.

Rockbrook Camera gave us cool Flipcams to use along the way
but my technology skills wouldn't let me get the movie to stay.

Little changes made for big progress for my heart.
I went to Toni's Healthy Cooking classes for a start.

Then Stacey with her exercise knowledge and all.
Helped me run two 5Ks and a 10K in the Fall.

Then there was Tara and her tremendous encouragement,
Who didn't let me get myself down with discouragement.

The Bloggers are a new set of sisters for me,
And the Teez created our new looks you see.

It's hard to say good-bye to this new family I've found.
But I think through this experience we will forever be bound.
