Winter weather throughout the Midwest has forced the Creighton women's basketball team to cancel its home game on Monday with North Dakota State.

The NDSU team is unable to reconvene in Fargo following its Christmas break in time to travel to Omaha.

Creighton head coach Jim Flanery and NDSU head coach Carolyn DeHoff will attempt to reschedule the game later this season, but if they are unable to do so, the Bison will be put back on the Creighton schedule for a home game during the 2010-11 season.

Creighton (5-4) will now turn its attention to Missouri Valley Conference play as the MVC preseason favorites will play at Indiana State (9-2) to open Valley action on December 31st at 4:30 p.m.
