United States Attorney Deborah R. Gilg announced that on May 3, 2012, Senior United States District Judge Richard Kopf sentenced Shawn Bursovsky, age 47 of Lincoln, Nebraska, to 188 months in prison, to be followed by 4 years of supervised release, for conspiracy to manufacture at least 50 grams of methamphetamine. Bursovsky pled guilty to the charge on December 19, 2011.
Bursovsky was involved in obtaining pseudoephedrine which was used by Mark Skoda to manufacture methamphetamine at 139th & “O” Street, east of Lincoln. Skoda, who was sentenced to 292 months on March 8, 2012, was making methamphetamine at a lab discovered by Lancaster County Deputies on February 22, 2011, at 13900 O Street.
This case was investigated by the Lancaster County Sheriff and the Lincoln Police Department.
