CB Sand Bagging Update

The city of Council Bluffs reports that 211 volunteers and city staff members filled 21,600 sandbags Saturday at the Mid America Center. Among the volunteers were 30 Marine Corps recruits. So far, the city has built an inventory of 128,880 sandbags. The goal is to produce 20,000 a week.
