Hundreds staggered in for the Omaha Zombie Walk in Benson Saturday night.
Walkers dressed like the undead and entered the parade.
This year's walk was viking themed, but many found ways to express themselves with other costumes.
While many say it is a horrifyingly good time, the walk is also a benefit for the Siena/Francis House shelter.
Still, many just couldn't pass up the opportunity to be a zombie for the evening.
"The whole family getting together and throwing blood around, and how often do you get to say like, 'Would you see if you could shove this hand in my boot, or can I eat your brain or something?' How often can you say that and not be arrested? It's so much fun!" said Breanna Lemke-Elznic, one zombie.
This was the sixth year for the Omaha Zombie Walk.
Walkers say more and more join every year.
