The Nebraska Department of Corrections is set to dedicate the library at the Correctional Youth Facility in Omaha in honor of Bob Boozer.
Boozer was a parole board member, star athlete and an advocate for youth. The Department of Corrections said the honor was due to Boozer’s desire to help young people achieve their dreams.
The dedication ceremony, hosted by NDCS and the Board of Parole, is planned for Wednesday, October 10th at 9:30 a.m. at the Nebraska Correctional Youth Facility in Omaha, Nebraska.
Governor Dave Heineman and Mrs. Ella Boozer will be in attendance for the ceremony.
