Each organization will feature activities for all ages. At Durham, among other things, visitors can enjoy an art deco architecture tour listen to Omaha jazz legends, take part in a museum-wide scavenger hunt, or see demonstrations of pioneer living.
At Joslyn, visitors can enjoy an old favorite exhibit or enjoy a new one, view original art by Etienne Delessert, tape their toes to live jazz music, and enjoy hands-on art-making activities for young visitors.
Cake will be served at both locations (while supplies last) beginning at 1pm. Both locations will be open from noon until 5pm that day. A discounted admission price of $5 for adults and $5 for children (18 and under) will get visitors into both museums.
