A Younkers employee admits to buying merchandise for significantly less than it's selling price. On September 10th police were called to Younkers at Westroads Mall after a manager discovered the transaction.
The manager said the employee allegedly rang up seven Polo Brand shirts for $5 a piece instead of their original price of $79.50 and $89.50 a shirt. Quianna Curry , who purchased the shirts for $5, admitted to the crime but would not admit who helped her with the transaction.
Curry was charged with embezzlement.
