As finals week looms at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, some students took advantage of cotton candy and a carnival rides to ease the stress.
A few hundred students attended the annual End of the Years Bash
at the Lincoln campus on Sunday.
Student adviser Reshell Ray said the event "sends students off on a
happy note as they get ready for finals."
Several student groups share the event's cost of nearly $10,000.
Student Elliott Turner said he and his friends haven't missed a
carnival since they've been in college and that he looks forward to
it every year.
