Lincoln police have arrested a 31-year-old man who tried to hold up a convenience store armed with a finger in the pocket.
Police say Jeremy A. Smith walked into the U-Stop at 110 West O Street about 8:45am Thursday. After grabbing a bag of chips, he approached the register and demanded money from the clerk.
Police say Smith had his finger in his pocket, suggesting he had a gun. When another employee asked him to leave, the man left empty-handed.
He was arrested about a block away.
