A Nebraska man who was arrested while driving the wrong direction on U.S. Highway 77 is going to prison for drunken driving.
Forty-eight-year-old Kent Uribe, who had six previous drunken driving convictions, was sentenced Tuesday to two to three years in prison, but he was given credit for serving 127 days.
Prosecutors say Uribe was stopped by a state trooper near Hickman on February 18th. At the time, Uribe's license was suspended.
Uribe refused sobriety testing and then on the way to jail he claimed to be having a heart attack. After doctors cleared Uribe, he spit in a state trooper's eye.
