In downtown Omaha, the Woodmen Tower will have a whole new hue over the next week.
The landmark will be glowing orange starting Friday night. Orange is a color that represents hunger relief.
The company wants to "shine a light on hunger."
Woodmen is partnering with the Food Bank for the Heartland to promote hunger awareness in our community.
Larry King, Woodmen of the World President and CEO, says, "We have over 600 people here at Woodmen and they're very fraternal, very charitable minded. We have a matching funds program and we can't think of a better project than to help a needy child or a needy family and provide food."
Woodmen and Food Bank for the Heartland are asking the community to get involved.
More than 217,000 people in our area need the help.
