A driver on a gravel road in Sarpy County lost control of her vehicle Friday afternoon and crashed.
It happened at 153rd and Schram Road. When she lost control of the car it rolled and took out a power pole by the side of the road. Power lines came down, too.
The Springfield, Nebraska woman, in her late teens or early 20s, was hospitalized with serious injuries but is expected to recover. “According to the squad, she was trapped in the vehicle but had gotten out of her seat belt and crawled to the back window,” said Sarpy County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Mike Erhart. “They just had to bust out the back window to get her out."
