Omaha police have identified the victim of a late night shooting. They say 18-year-old KeiannaTurner showed up at Creighton University Medical Center with a gunshot wound Monday morning. She told police she had been shot in the area of 39th and Paxton Boulevard.
Before she showed up at the hospital, officers were dispatched to the area to investigate gunfire. They found two vehicles that had been struck by bullets. They also found a home that had been struck as well. The home is owned by 53-year-old Joan Brown. The vehicles are owned by 19-year-old Jordyn Zyla, 17-year-old Keneisha Fowler, and 24-year-old Cari McLucas.
Police have no information about a possible suspect or motive.
