Woman Charged With Sexual Assault
Scott Tingelhoff, Saunders County Attorney, reports Monika Mattheis was charged with 3rd Degree Sexual Assault on a Child, a class IIIA Felony, which has a maximum sentence of up to 5 years imprisonment.
She is scheduled to appear in the Saunders County Court for a Felony First Appearance on November 13th, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.
An officer with the Yutan Police Department received a report of a sexual assault on a child. After investigation, the deputy determined the juvenile, who was in her care, was sexually assaulted at Mattheis’s home.
