A Heartland woman was arrested while deputies searched for someone else.
Saunders County Attorney Scott Tingelhoff reported that Desiree O’Brien was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class IV Felony, which has a maximum sentence of up to 5 years imprisonment. She is scheduled to appear in the Saunders County Court for a Preliminary Hearing on November 15th, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.
While conducting a search for an individual with a felony warrant, a deputy with the Saunders County Sheriff’s Department observed a glass smoking device containing a controlled substance in Desiree O’Brien’s possession. O’Brien was arrested and booked into Saunders County Jail.
Desiree O’Brien has an address in Ohio.
