A man has been arrested in connection with the beating of an Omaha woman at her home early Sunday morning.
Police found 32-year-old Jolene Heydenreich at a neighbor's residence near South 29th and S streets around 5:15 a.m. bleeding extensively about the head, face and hands. She suffered multiple contusions, abrasions and lacerations after being punched, kicked and beaten with a cell phone and broom stick.
Police found the suspect, her boyfriend, 35-year-old Marvin Benson, at her home. He was booked for felony assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
