Woman Awaiting Sentencing On Her Third DUI Conviction
A Douglas County woman is awaiting sentencing on her third DUI.
Sgt. John Wells is the President of the Omaha Police Officers' Assocation. Recently, they posted several articles on repeat DUI offenders. They are not the ones who went to an office party, had one too many and made the mistake of driving home. They are people like Elizabeth Naple.
"Here you have someone who is a very young person, 26 years old, who in a span of about 7 years has had six different alcohol related arrests," Sgt. Wells said.
Naple did plead guilty to her recent DUI charge earlier in the year. Channel Six will find out officially what her punishment will be on Thursday when she is sentenced.
