A 19-year-old Omaha woman was arrested after she assaulted two Omaha police officers.
According to police reports, officers were called to the area of 32nd and Franklin Friday, August 8th just before 9am where several people were reportedly drinking in the area.
The officer made contact with several people who were “anti-police” and requested more officers.
Officer Alexis Boults arrived and tried to place 19-year-old Elizabeth Lam under arrest for disorderly conduct. The report said Lam punched officer Boults in the face and continued to resist.
Officer Luciano Rizzo tried to help was scratched several times in the face by Lam. The marks were documented by crime lab technicians.
Lam was charged with two counts of felony assault of an officer and taken to the Douglas County Correctional Center.
