A woman was rescued by several people residing and working in an extended stay facility in the area of 90th and Burt in Omaha.
Police say witnesses heard a woman in distress and asked an employee to open the door to one of the rooms. Inside, they witnessed part of a sexual assault of a 28-year-old woman.
The woman told officers her attacker grabbed her from the hallway and pulled her into his room and began tearing at her clothing. She believes her cries for help alerted the others to her situation.
Arrested for sexual assault and false imprisonment was 39-year-old Andra Gadson of Savannah, Georgia.
