The National Weather Service continues the heat advisory through Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures once again on Tuesday will rise to the upper 90s however high humidity will make it feel like 105 to 110 degrees.
With spring, drivers can expect more road projects throughout the metro.
Starting Thursday, 24th Street from Cuming to Burt will have a northbound lane closed. This restriction is due to fiber optic cable installation and will be in effect for three to four days.
Also starting Thursday, Blondo Street from 75th to Davis Circle (approximately 76th Street) will have a westbound lane closed. This restriction is due to utility work by MUD and will be in effect for three to four days.
Drivers can expect possible delays in those areas during high traffic hours.
