The same storm system bringing us chances of severe weather Thursday and Friday will bring snow to the western part of Nebraska.
Winter storm watches and warnings are in effect through Friday night for Wyoming, western South Dakota and the Nebraska Panhandle. Snow accumulation of up to nine inches is forecast for Chadron, compared with two inches in Sidney. Wind gusts of 50 mph could whip through parts of the Panhandle.
