The results are in, and the public voted The Durham Museum's "Miracle on Farnam" window display as its favorite for the event's inaugural year.
Titled "Simply Magical," the display paid tribute to the Musem's iconic holiday custom, Christmas at Union Station.
“The Durham Museum was honored to be part of Omaha’s newest tradition – Midtown Crossing’s Miracle on Farnam. This unique project provided a creative and entertaining way for Omaha’s cultural arts organizations to showcase their programs in a beautiful venue,” said Shawna Forsberg, director of marketing and public relations, The Durham Museum.
The display, which featured a small-scale, intricate recreation of a Union Station Christmas, garnered the most votes during the course of Miracle on Farnam. As the vote winner, the non-profit Durham Museum earns a $3,000 donation from Midtown Crossing to support its mission of providing every visitor a unique, informative experience.
Miracle on Farnam featured a total of 14 dazzling window displays, each one exhibiting the artistry and imagination of Omaha’s most respected arts and cultural organizations.
