On Monday morning in Sarpy County court, Michael Williams entered a guilty plea for the murder of his step-daughter, Michala Pomfret back in April.
The shooting happened around 10:15 on a Tuesday morning near 27th and Crawford Streets in Bellevue. Williams was taken into custody just after 1 p.m. in an apartment just south of the shooting scene.
Williams plead guilty to one count of first degree murder and use of a weapon. He will be sentenced in January.
