Sarpy County Crime Stoppers needs help from the public to identify a woman who allegedly committed check fraud. Investigators say the woman deposited a forged check into a business account that only had a small amount of money.
A surveillance camera snapped a picture of the woman making a deposit at the Bellevue Branch of the American National Bank. The check was for more than $6,600.
We have attached the woman's picture to this story. She was sporting purple hair when she deposited the check at 3:44pm October 30.
Sometime later, a person or persons withdrew money from the account before the check cleared. The bank is now out more than $3,000.
If you know who the woman making the deposit is, give Sarpy County Crime Stoppers at call at (402) 592-STOP (7867).
