Omaha Police are searching for a 26-year-old woman who is alleged to have embezzled $3,500 while she worked at an Omaha area Credit Union.
According to police reports, officers were contacted by a representative of the SAC Federal Credit Union near 153rd & Weir on February 15th concerning missing funds.
Officers were told a customer who had made an earlier deposit noticed the account was not accurately reflecting the supposed balance. The customer found a $3,500 discrepancy on February 1st.
The Credit Union traced the transactions to the 26-year-old woman who worked as a teller at the credit union until the first of February.
They allege the teller pocketed the $3,500 and then left.
No word on any arrests.
