The Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America has come out with its annual list which ranks cities in terms of spring allergies. Omaha jumped from 28th worst on the list last year to 55th this year. We are waiting to hear from the AAFA to explain the significant change.
Other cities saw significant changes as well from year to year. The report combines data on pollen count, allergy medication use, and the number of allergists in the area. The cities of Louisville, Memphis and Baton Rouge were the worst cities.
If you want some relief from spring allergies, among the places to be are San Diego, Denver, Daytona Beach, and Colorado Springs.
