If you've got a taste for barbecue then Aksarben Village in Omaha is the place to be through Saturday night for the annual Ribfest.
Four teams from Chicago, Memphis and Texas are cooking in Stinson Park and ready for you to taste their ribs, chicken and brisket and vote on the best.
“This morning at 6 a.m., I put in 100 slabs of ribs and they're ready for lunch and we'll load it up again for supper,” said John Bigack. “We've got brisket, pulled pork, come down to Ribfest, love to see everybody at Willingham’s.”
And don’t forget the pork butts. “This here is Arnold, he’s got our pork butts in here,” said Bigack. “They've been in here overnight smoking with the warm seasoning, these are cooked a full 14 hours.”
