The Channel 6 News Weather Authority says conditions are forecast to improve Friday afternoon.
Clouds are forecast to slowly break apart this afternoon allowing a little warmth to build in. As temperatures climb close to 80° for the afternoon high, a few isolated thunderstorms are possible. Rain chances are at 30% and any showers should move through quickly.
Fans attending either game of the CWS can expect a few brief thundershowers at the worst that may result in a brief delay in the games. A complete washout is not expected and the games should go on as scheduled. Stay tuned for any further weather updates as the day progresses.
