A 49-year-old Waverly man has been given 15-to-20 years in prison for cutting a woman's face.
Published reports reveal that Floyd Morrison was sentenced on Monday.
Before his sentencing Morrison said that what he did was
Judge Paul Merritt Jr. told Morrison: "You are just dangerous, sir, when you get into a certain condition and/or state."
Morrison's previous convictions include armed robbery, bank robbery and assault.
Morrison was arrested on Aug. 13 after the 50-year-old woman
went to a Lincoln hospital.
The woman told deputies that she'd kicked Morrison out of her
home after an argument. But he came back.
She says she awoke to find Morrison over her. She says he hit
her jaw with a large knife and cut her neck and face.
