Water Main Breaks Keep MUD Busy
The Metropolitan Utilities District crews were busy Friday fixing four separate water main breaks throughout the city.
A 6-inch break at 2630 North 70th Street affected 35 customers and was repaired by 11:30 a.m. A 4-inch break in Ralston took a little longer to repair and is expected to be finished later Friday afternoon.
An 8-inch break at 84th and Frederick affected a number of MUD customers as well as a 6-inch break at 5444 South 50th Avenue.
