MUD is hoping to have water restored to customers in the area of 66th and Hartman by late Tuesday afternoon.

The intersection looks more like a river, than road, in this picture sent to WOWT 6 News. The cause of the water main break has not yet been released.

66th to 67th and Hartman to Burt are closed while repairs are being made. MUD hoped to be finished by 4 p.m.

The break is one of at least six that have occurred, so far, in Omaha Tuesday. There is another break on Hartman from 63rd to 66th and 66th to Park View Lane. MUD hoped to restore service to that area by 5 p.m.

MUD crews are also working on repairs at 16th and Harney. Repairs were also needed on Clark Street from 21st to 24th, Franklin from 22nd to 21st, and on 21st Street from Franklin to Clark, as well as, the areas of 58th and Pierce and 83rd and Martha.
