Customers of the Metropolitan Utilities District have again received correspondence from Home Service USA Repair selling warranty coverage for sewer lines, water lines, furnaces and water heaters.
Channel Six News Fact Finders exposed this misleading offer months ago. But they're back.
Home Service USA operates throughout the USA with their main office located in Miami, Florida. They have a mail center located in Lincoln, Ne and this is where the letters are coming from to our customers.
This service is not affiliated in any way with the District and we want to assure our customers that Home Serve has obtained absolutely no customer records from the District. Their source of mailing information is unknown to us.
While the District is considering offering these types of services in the future under our name, we do not at this time.
